O Holy Night Eve.

Here are some pictures that were taken on Xmas eve. Yes... Sadly, I was working on Xmas eve. But for half day only! Still, I was very sleepy when I went to work that morning. On the morning of Xmas eve, I was thinking " WHY AM I GOING TO WORK FOR?! " Argh. But oh wells. We stuffed our faces with cake when we got to the office anyhow. Yum. :) Then I headed home after work and crashed onto my bed til dinner where I went to my dear cousin place Siying for BBQ food/talk cock/bitching/ranting session. I have plenty of Xmas pictures to post too! All of which Im going to post it another time! :) And like today as Im sitting in the office typing this entry, ( My eyes are half asleep ) I have that I-am-so-tired-this-morning-my-brain-is-not-functioning attitude. I have to do 10 shops today. SHIT. So not looking forward to it I swear. Oh oh, Zura & Char, if you're reading this, Ive gotten your Xmas gifts ready already. :) Must see you guys soon to pass it to ya! :) Enough talkin. More pictures!

So, every year my Mum always makes plans for us to do a little bit of charity work during christmas and so far we've gone to old folks homes and homes for the intellectually disabled people. This year, we decided to go to The Hiding Place this year to throw some christmas joy for the people living there. :) ( The Hiding Place is a Christian Home set up for the spiritual rehabilitation of ex-drug addicts, glue sniffers, alcoholics, delinquents and individuals with related problems. It was started in 1978 by Pastor Philip Chan and Sister Christina Chan who responded to God's call into this ministry of reaching out to substance abusers. )

We had really good food catered by my Mum and her group of friends who all contributed for this event. I was very impressed by a young girl who looked about 12 years old because she approached my Mum and thanked her for the food. ( I think she was one of the relatives of someone living in the home. ) :) Good upbringing. After dinner, we sang some good old traditional christmas songs and ended the day with the distribution of small gifts for the children who were there that day. :) I was so happy that Mr T still came and joined me on this day and even helped my parents out to unload all the food from the car, wipe up the mess in the booth when the curry spilled over and participated in the events that took place at the home. :) Second year im spending Xmas with him.
